The 12th Nanotechnology Young Researchers Symposium (SANI-NYRS 2025), hosted by the University of Limpopo (UL) in collaboration with the South African Nanotechnology Initiative (SANI), will take place on 22–23 May 2025 at the R-40 Conference Hall. Under the theme “Transforming Africa Through Nanotechnology,” this event provides a platform for young researchers to showcase groundbreaking advancements in nanoscience and nanotechnology through oral and poster presentations. Anchored within UL’s Department of Chemistry and the DSI/NRF SARChI Chair in Photoelectrocatalytic Hydrogen Production, the symposium will cover key areas such as synthesis and characterization, energy storage, water treatment, biomedical applications, and nano-commercialization. Abstract submissions are open until 11 April 2025, with acceptance notifications by 24 April 2025, and final registration closing on 30 April 2025
