Dr Themba Ntuli is an up-and-coming researcher and scholar who has made significant strides in the field of nanotechnology, particularly in the areas of renewable energy and wastewater treatment. Starting his educational journey at Walter Sisulu University, he earned a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry. This was followed by a Baccalaureus Technologiae in Chemistry and a Magister Technologiae in Chemistry from Vaal University of Technology. He later earned his PhD in Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand. Seeking to broaden his perspectives and collaborate with researchers on an international scale, Dr Ntuli embarked on a three-month research stint at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain. This experience enriched his research endeavours and strengthened his global network of scientific partnerships. His expertise lies in nanomaterials; synthesis, characterization, and practical application. His contributions have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Not only does he possess effective public speaking skills he is an advocate for science outreach, bridging the gap between academia and the public. Acknowledging his achievements and commitment to excellence, Dr Ntuli was honoured with membership in the prestigious Golden Key International Honor Society, a testament to his outstanding academic performance. Moreover, he actively contributes to the advancement of his field as an executive member of the South African Nanotechnology Institute's young professional chapter, nurturing the growth of aspiring scientists. Dr Themba Ntuli's contributions to the field of chemistry, particularly in the realm of nanotechnology for renewable energy and wastewater purification, are of profound significance.
