The 9th International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Africa (NanoAfrica 2024) is scheduled to take place from October 20–24, 2024, at the Sun City Resort in North West Province, South Africa. This prestigious event will convene researchers, academics, engineers, scientists, and industry professionals from around the world to explore the theme: “Nanotechnology for Societal Impact.”
Conference Overview
For over two decades, nanoscience research has progressively advanced globally. NanoAfrica 2024 aims to highlight how nanotechnology can revolutionize various sectors including electronics, medicine, energy, food safety, agriculture, environmental sciences, and water security. The conference seeks to promote research that drives societal benefits and fosters sustainable development across Africa. It will serve as a dynamic platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and practical implementations among a diverse range of participants.
The conference will be complemented by a Special Issue in the Nano-Structures & Nano-Objects journal, which will feature select papers presented at the event.
Call for Abstracts and Paper Submissions
NanoAfrica 2024 encourages both emerging and established researchers to submit their work for presentation. The conference will accept oral and poster presentations, with a limit of two presentations per individual. Note that inclusion in the program is contingent upon the full payment of registration fees by October 10, 2024.
